The corporate, M&A and securities group has expanded with the addition of partner Christopher J. Doyle. Alongside him, partner Marvin J. Goldstein and senior counsels have joined the New York office, forming a commodities trading and finance team.
The group brings experience in commodity trading, structured finance, and regulatory matters affecting energy and metals markets. Their practice covers physical and derivative transactions, trade finance, and compliance with federal regulations. The team will work with clients across the supply chain, from producers and traders to financial institutions.
A spokesperson for the firm said the additions reflect growing client demand for legal support in commodities markets, where volatility and shifting regulations have increased the need for specialized counsel. The new team members will collaborate with existing practices in corporate law and financial services.
Doyle focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and corporate governance. Goldstein brings experience in commodity trading agreements, financing arrangements, and dispute resolution. The senior counsels add depth in trade documentation and regulatory compliance.
The hires follow a period of expansion for the firm's New York office, which has been adding capabilities in energy, finance, and cross-border transactions. The team is expected to begin working with clients immediately.
