JinkoSolar has introduced the Tiger Neo 5.0, an all-black residential solar module built on its new TAC technology. The first version to reach the market is an all-black 48-cell module that delivers a maximum power output of 510 W with a module efficiency of 25.52 percent. The company said the product was designed to redefine the upper limits of what a scenario-specific module can deliver in both appearance and efficiency for premium homes and other architecturally refined buildings.
The launch places emphasis on combining high performance with a clean visual finish, a combination that has often forced homeowners to choose between output and aesthetics. By pushing module efficiency to 25.52 percent in a full black format, the new panel aims to remove that tradeoff for residential installations where appearance matters as much as energy production.
The Tiger Neo 5.0 is the first product to use the company's TAC technology, which serves as the foundation for the new module line. JinkoSolar has positioned the 48-cell design specifically for the residential segment, where limited roof space makes higher power density valuable and where uniform all-black styling is increasingly requested by architects and homeowners.
The announcement highlights a growing focus on modules tailored to specific installation scenarios rather than general-purpose panels. With the Tiger Neo 5.0, the manufacturer is targeting the premium residential market, where efficiency, power output and design are weighed together. The module's 510 W output and 25.52 percent efficiency set a high bar for the category, according to the company.
JinkoSolar has not disclosed pricing or a detailed availability schedule for the new module. The company presented the Tiger Neo 5.0 as a step toward higher performance in the residential segment while maintaining the visual consistency that all-black modules provide for upscale homes and architecturally refined projects.
